Why school holidays should not be three weeks long by Cheyan

Why school holidays should not be three weeks long.

I strongly believe that the school holidays should not be three weeks long.
Firstly, your parents might have to take time off work or get someone to look after you which might cost a lot of money and they have to buy food and pay bills.
Secondly, you don’t do as much school work and your learning would be a week behind.
Thirdly, you will get to see your friends at school again because some people don’t get to see their friends in the holidays.
Lastly, people who work in offices like Mrs. Hood would not get paid for the extra week holiday and they have to pay bills and buy food too.
These are my reasons why school holidays should not be three weeks long.

Why School Holidays Should be 3 Weeks Long by Carl

Hi. My name is Carl and I am here to tell you why I strongly believe that school holidays should be 3 weeks long.
Firstly, school holidays should be 3 weeks long because there would be more time to sleep in, so our brains would be ready for school. Otherwise, we would be too sleepy and will not want to do any work.
Secondly, there is more time to tidy up the house and do some more house work to get the house spic and span in case friends or other visitors come to see you. (They might not have seen you for a while)
Lastly, teachers get more time to get all the work sheets ready for the next term. This means that they do not have to stay behind late at night. They will be able to get more sleep and have energy for the next day.
That is why I strongly believe that school holidays should be 3 weeks long, because there is more time to sleep in and tidy up the house.

School Holidays Should Be Three Weeks Long by Alice

School Holidays Should Be Three Weeks Long
Firstly, the children will all be happy and won’t be angry because the high schools have a longer holiday than them.
Secondly, the parents will be able to rest and sleep in, instead of having to get up and take their kids to school.
Thirdly, we would be able to see friends and family that you hardly get to see, like my cousins in Christchurch, or my auntie, uncle and cousins in Australia. I usually wouldn’t be able to see them because they all live so far away.
Lastly, teachers might be really tired because of being tied up with school work.  They would be able to go on a holiday they usually wouldn’t have time to do.
And that’s why I think the school holidays should be three weeks long.
