Soft Toys by Caitlin


Soft toys are cute and cuddly. They’re popular worldwide. Teddy bears sometimes squeak when you press the button. Some teddy bears sing funny songs.

Soft toys are popular for children and adults. Now there are different types of soft toys.

The little fluffy teddy bear’s name is London. She holds a love heart in her tiny hands. She has got the word “London” written on her which means that she came from London. She has got soft golden fur.  Her height is about the size of Caitlin’s pen. London is a nice cuddly teddy and she is 1 year old.

 
Disco dog sings “who let the dogs out.” It is the only song he sings.  He is a beagle. His colours are white, back and a golden brown. His texture has a furry soft feel. Disco dog belongs to Caitlin.
 

The dinosaur is green and fluffy. He belongs to Charlotte who goes to Sacred Heart. He has huge horns that stick out of his for head. The dinosaur has green and white triangles on his fur.

Toys are made all over the world. Toys are suitable for children up to 13. The most popular country to make toys is China. Toys are made with different materials.


Room 4 brought their toys to describe in writing.

 
The ball is orange and blue. It has black lines through it. It is a mini basetball. It has a grippy surface.Itneeds to be pumped up a little bit.The ball can be used anywhere.

The car is red black and white. It can go very fast or slow. It can move forwards and backwards. It is 8cm long and 3cm wide. The car has the number 11 on it. It has red mags.
 

The truck’s name is Toe Mater. He is friends with Lightning McQueen. It is off the cars and cars 2 movies. It is brown and has black wheels. The truck has a hook on the back of it. He helps people if they are stuck.

Teddy bears were invented in Germany and the United States at around the same time. They were named after American President Theodore “T.R. Roosevelt Junior” (Teddy). They were based on bear cubs. Teddy bears are quite popular with children all over the world.

Teddy bears and other animals are now made worldwide. Room 4 students brought their favourite soft toys to school to share.

 Reilly’s mammoth is about as tall as a pen.  He is soft and fluffy. He has a long trunk and short white tusks. Ben got it from Australia. The mammoth was made in China and designed in Australia. He has small ears small eyes and is the colour brown and gold.

 The kiwi is soft. It can make a noise. It has a scarf that says “I love NZ.”  The colour is a brown and gold colour. The size is 9.5cm  tall and 4cm long.  The kiwi was made in China. It has tiny black eyes.

 James’s boxing tiger has a white bow around his tummy. The tiger has black and brown around both eyes. The feet have black stipes across them. It has a pink nose. The boxing tiger belongs to James. It sings a really loud song.   The boxing tiger is really soft.

 Miss G’s rabbit has lots of patches. It is 4 inches tall and its ears are 3 inches tall. All together it is 7 inches tall. It has 2 shiny black dots for eyes. The rabbit has a gold ribbon. It is tied in a bow.

The kiwi is Reilly’s. It is brown and soft. It has a ribbon that says “I love NZ.” The kiwi lives in a box. It has big legs. The kiwi makes a noise like the forest.

Miss G’s bear has brown legs, arms and head. It has a green ribbon tied in a bow. The feet, tummy and ears are dark brown and red. It has brown and black eyes. The bear is soft. It has beans in its tummy. 











 





Soft Toys by Emma


Teddy bears were invented in Germany and the USA. American president Theodore Roosevelt was who they were named after. They had to ask his permission first. Teddy bears are one of the top children’s presents.

Teddy bears and other soft animals are sold worldwide. Room 4 brought their favourite soft toys to school to share.

The Teddy’s name is Truffles. Truffles is his name because he is the colour of truffles. He is about 27cm tall which is a tiny bit bigger than a writing book. He has a bit of a ripped nose since Emma’s dog Monty chewed it. The teddy belongs to Emma. It sits on her bed.

 
The pig belongs to Emma. It sits on her beanbag. She is called Oink-Oink. She is 31cm across. She is also 10cm tall. The pig is REALLY fluffy and has piddly eyes.

The dog belongs to Caitlin.  He stays at her house. He has a push button that sings “Who Let the Dogs Out?” when you press it. He wears red, sparkly sunglasses. The dog is 24cm tall. That is the size of Emma’s maths book.
