Margaret is in her 60’s and has grey short hair that used to be brown. She has brown eyes and wears glasses. 

Margaret likes taking her daughter (Sarah) in her RX7 shopping, playing bowls and playing cards. She also likes babysitting her grandkids Emma, Christiana, Isaac, Tara-Lea and Andrew.

She has 3 children and a dog called Sam. Sam is a 13 year old husky and likes running along the beach.

 Margaret’s husband died of a heart attack 7 years ago so now she is a widow. L

She lives in Dunedin not far from her children.

Margaret seems really nice to me.

She also lives close to the beach and speaking of the beach, she walks
her dog Sam on the beach. Sam is a   black Labrador. She also likes
hiking, biking and walking.

She plays bowls and cards and she likes going to the zoo. She also
loves coffee and movies.

I think Margaret is a very nice person.

Simon the Bully by Olivia G

Simon is a nine year old bully that attends a local primary school that he started one year ago.

Simon is very lonely because he doesn’t know how to make friends and his parents don’t have any time to spend with him.

Simon is very tall for his age, he uses his height to scare the other children. He also uses his creepy scowl to warn the people he despises!

He wants to join a sports team but he can’t because his parents work long hours.

In the weekend he goes to his Grandma’s house and all he does is play video games and watch television all by him self!

He wishes to go camping, fishing and hiking with his Dad, but his dad is too busy!

One day Simon went to school and took all his rage and anger with him-he took this out on the new kid – Tim!  Simon pushed Tim off his chair, but the amazing thing is Tim stood up to him. This made Simon extra angry, “What did you do that for?” Tim questioned. “Coz I felt like it,” Simon answered. Tim stood up and said, “Well, well don’t do it again!” Tim quickly moved to a different desk. Simon put his head down and got on with his work looking embarrassed!

I feel sorry for Simon because I think if he really tried he could have a lot of good friends.

She is called a widow because her husband died. She was working in an office but since her husband died she retired.

She lives in Dunedin with her family nearby. Every day she walks her awesome dog Sam on the beach. As well as Sam, she has a cat.

She has a car which is a red RX7. She goes to see her sister in Wellington. She does not like to fly on the aeroplane so she drives up to Picton and goes on the ferry to Wellington.

In her own time she LOVES to play bowls and cards and go shopping

I’d like to introduce you to Simon.  He thinks he’s powerful and important but he is a bully that hates being stood up to.

He’s a bully because his parents work long hours and he has no friends.  He sometimes says, “Because I felt like it,” to people.

Everyone thinks he’s approximately 13 because of his height although his age is 9.  He has brown curly hair and green eyes.

Ever since he started at this school a year ago, all the little kids have been afraid of him just like my cat is scared of a hedgehog [very scared!]

In the summer holidays he would like to go camping with his father as he likes to hike and fish.

I think Simon is bad because of his parent’s working hours.

I reckon Simon needs a friend [at least one].

His favourite thing to do is hurt others but Simon has a big advantage on smaller kids because of his height. He likes to feel important so when people stand up to him gets really embarrassed sometimes feels jealous because everyone has friends but him.

I think one of the reasons Simon is angry is because his parents don’t have time for him. They work long hours and he has to go to his grandma’s. He also wants to go camping with his dad but has no friends to go with.

Simon can’t join sports teams and can’t interact with people very well. Simon is a bad natured person. I think Simon should be given a chance to be friends with someone.
