Naughty Boy by Maddie W

Last night at 8:30 a wolf attacked two houses made out of straw and sticks. They are so damaged that they will not be able to rebuild the two houses.

The things that got broken in the first little pig’s house were two windows, the roof and there was lots of straw everywhere.  In the second house the damage was a little better, but it still had a broken window and its roof came off.

The two little pigs that got hurt had both broken their legs and broken their  necks.  The wolf is now in prison for life!

Goodbye Noreen

Sadly, we said goodbye to a lovely lady who has been cleaning our school for the past 12 years. She is looking forward to her retirement, but we will really miss her!!!!  Her daughter Michelle and grand-daughter Abby have helped her clean for the past 2 years too.

Noreen came to assembly last week and the students presented her with cards they had made in their classes.  Room 4 students appreciate the wonderful job she did (especially turning on the heaters on winter mornings so our classroom was nice and warm).

Thank you to Noreen, Michelle and Abby for all your hard work and dedication. :)

Caritas Coin Trail

The school held a coin trail on Friday 23 March to raise money for Caritas. The whole school raised over $300. I was very proud of Room 4 as we raised more than $55 for this great cause. Awesome effort!!!!

The Bad Witch by Siana

Once a upon a time there was a girl called Gina.

She was 7 years old and she had a big house that was really scary. One day, when Gina walked to school and came back, something was really strange.

When she knocked on the door no one was there and no one even opened it. She thought that her Mum and Dad were scaring her but when she went inside no one was home.

Next she said, “Hello is anybody there? Mum, Dad?”

Mmm boom! The door shut by itself, and then she heard a noise. It said, “Come here, come here.” Then Gina heard another noise. It was the stairs.

She screamed and said, “Arrrgggh witch! HELP Mum Dad!” She ran and the witch started following her with her broom, but the witch went to the other side of the street.

Then Gina went to her Grandma’s place and said “Never go to that house again.”

The Crazy World by Amber

One day there were two sisters called Crystal and Angel, they were both nine years old.  Their parents had to go to a work doo and took the two sisters to their Granny’s for a few hours.
The sisters didn’t like going grannies.  When they got there they went to the dairy down the road to buy some lollies.  But when they got to the dairy the strangest thing happened, they saw an arrow saying, “Follow this path.”  So they did path.

They walked for a while until they saw a wheel saying, “Spin me.”  So they spun it and it landed on a sentence saying, “A big spider the size of a house will come.”  So what happened? A giant spider, the size of a double storied house came along and the spider said, “Hop on and I’ll take you to the coolest place on earth for kids.”

So, after a while they saw a palace called Candy City where all your dreams come true!  There was a human egg with a black hat on.    There also were giant scoops of ice-cream on one side and chocolate and candy on the other.  In the middle they saw pink carpet (their favourite colour) coming down with strange animals on the side of it.  There was a unicorn with a dog’s tail and wings made out of cat’s whiskers.  Never before have you seen things like this.  It was amazing.

They soon got bored of this place and decided to go back. Their Mum and Dad passed them and then picked them up to go home.  When they got home there was a note saying, “If you want to see us again, go to your backyard, into your tree hut and there will be some instructions to see us again.  Hope you enjoy your hunt.”  From egg and spider.  They never told anyone it was their little secret.
