Challenge programme sharing

O-R has been learning how to sew as part of her Challenge Programme.  She has made this skirt and a couple of weeks ago she finished a very trendy cushion aswell.  I can see a fashion designer in the making!  Keep it up O-R, what a wonderful talent you have :)

Pied Piper Praise (post production)

Congratulations to all of the Middle Syndicate students for their effort in the Pied Piper. You were ALL fantastic. Brilliant singing, wonderful dancing and terrific acting. A huge thank you to all the parents who helped out with costumes and make-up - we couldn't have done it without you.
We hope everyone enjoyed it :)

Margaret by Benjamin

This is Margaret. Her husband died by having a heart attack so she is a widow.     

She likes to ride in her red rx7 and she likes going really fast in it.  

She has 5 grandchildren and likes to baby sit them. She also likes to dance and likes playing cards and bowls. She worked in an office and had brown hair but it is grey now. Margaret also wears glasses.

She also has a dog Sam and likes to take him to the beach for walks. Margaret is 61.  She likes to bike as well. 

Margaret always wants to help everyone. I think that Margaret is a very nice person.

Stella by Isabella

Secrets.

Stella is a bubbly red head with green eyes and freckles, she lives in Chevalier point and she’s seventeen. She has her belly button pierced. 

 Her friends are Issie and Kate.

  Her horses are Coco, a brown mare (mare means female horse) and Marmite, a black gelding.

Stella is Issie’s groom, which she takes very seriously.  Since Issie is an Eventer, (Eventer is serious horse riding), she has to make sure all the horses tack fits properly (tack means saddles, bridles and so on). Also Issie’s horses could be uncomfortable and get hurt, or Issies horse could throw a fit and Issie could get badly injured.

Her favourite thing to do is anything to do with horses, watch TV and more to do with horses.

Stella is an hilarious friend who is always keen to joke.

I think Stella is a good friend with an awesome personality.

Jennifer Lopez, by Lydia

I would like to introduce you to Jennifer Lopez, a famous singer and actress.

Jennifer has brown eyes and wavy brown hair. Her full name is Jennifer Lynn Lopez, her nicknames included J Lo, La Lopez, Lola and Jenny. She was born on July 24^th 1969 in The Bronx, New York USA. Jenny was five when she started to sing!!

In her family she has a Mum called Guadalupe, Dad, David and her two sisters Leslie and Lynda. Jennifer also has twin children called Max and Emme (Girl), Emme is eleven minutes older than Max.

Jenny’s favourite sports are softball and tennis. Her favourite food is chicken cutlets.

I chose to write about J Lo because she is a good role model for some people, people love her songs and she has a lot of fans.

I would like to introduce you to the Princess of Pop, Britney Spears. She has blonde hair and chocolate coloured eyes. She was born on December the 2^nd 1981 in McComb, Mississippi. Her full name is Britney Jean Spears however Britney’s nicknames are The Princess of Pop or Brit.

Brit’s family include Lynne, (her Mum) Jamie, (her Dad) her two younger siblings and her two sons Sean and Jayden.

Britney loves animated films, white lilies, drawing and cooking spaghetti. Her favourite ice-cream is orange sherbet and her favourite sport is Basketball.

I chose to write about her because I really like her songs.
