Room 4's Soft Toys by Brylie

Teddy bears were invented in Germany and the United States at around the same time. They were named after American President Theodore “T.R. Roosevelt Junior” (Teddy). They were based on bear cubs. Teddy bears are quite popular with children all over the world. Teddy bears and other animals are now made worldwide.

Room 4 students brought their favourite soft toys to school to share.

The teddy bear’s name is Mr.Cuddles. He belongs to Taylia. He is also Mrs.Cuddle’s husband. He wears a beanie and pants. He is 24cm tall. Mr.Cuddles is soft and cuddly.

The teddy bear’s name is Mrs Cuddles. She belongs to Brylie and is Mr Cuddle’s wife. She is 13.5cm tall. She is also white with a purple bow on her that says 2012. Brylie got Mrs.Cuddles from her nanny for Christmas. Mrs Cuddles is made in China.

The big dog is named Goldey. He is two years old. He has three shades of brown; light brown, a little bit of goldish brown and dark brown on his nose. He has a round nose and has a paw that squeaks. He has got a tail that is 13cm long. Goldey belongs to Sophie Beens and lives at the end of Sophie’s bed.
