Soft Toys by Reilly P

Teddy bears were invented in Germany and the United States at around the same time. They were named after American President Theodore “T.R. Roosevelt Junior” (Teddy). They were based on bear cubs. Teddy bears are quite popular with children all over the world.

Teddy bears and other animals are now made worldwide. Room 4 students brought their favourite soft toys to school to share.

Reilly’s mammoth is about as tall as a pen.  He is soft and fluffy. He has a long trunk and short white tusks. Ben got it from Australia. The mammoth was made in China and designed in Australia. He has small ears small eyes and is the colour brown and gold.

The kiwi is soft. It can make a noise. It has a scarf that says “I love NZ.”  The colour is a brown and gold colour. The size is 9.5cm  tall and 4cm long.  The kiwi was made in China. It has tiny black eyes.

James’s boxing tiger has a white bow around his tummy. The tiger has black and brown around both eyes. The feet have black stipes across them. It has a pink nose. The boxing tiger belongs to James. It sings a really loud song.   The boxing tiger is really soft.
