Dogs and cats are very popular in New Zealand. Dogs are very smart and they have fantastic hearing. It is very clear that dogs do make the best pet      

Firstly dogs can do lots of tricks. They can shake hands, jump up and play games. Dogs are very playful and loyal friends. If you like playing games a dog would be perfect for you.

Secondly dogs help blind people. Dogs are great at it.  They know exactly where they are going. They always help them cross roads.

Finally dogs eat leftovers. If you do not like to waste food or cannot afford to it’s a great alternative. This is a great example on how you can save money.

I strongly believe dogs make the best pet because they can do lots of tricks, help blind people and eat leftovers.
