Planets by Vanessa

Planets have been around for 4.54 billion years. They are all different Colours, Shapes and sizes! A long time ago (4.54 billion years). There was a big bang that formed planets including the sun.

Miss G told room 4 to study and write about the planets.

Saturn could hold 764 earths. It is the 2nd biggest planet. It is the 2nd biggest planet in the solar system. It is the 6th closet planet to the sun. Its rings are made out of billions of rocks and dust. Saturn has been known for 29 and a half years.

Jupiter is a gigantic ball of gas. It has a great red spot that is a storm that has been turning for over 100 years. It would have to take over 100,000 earths to full up Jupiter. Jupiter is the biggest planet in the whole universe!

Neptune is mostly made from rock and water. It is the coldest planet in the solar system. It has incomplete rings. The colour of Neptune is blue and green. It is the same size as Uranus. Neptune circles backwards.
