Room 4's Soft Toys by Ainemaria

Teddy bears have been around for a long time. They were first invented in two parts of the world; Germany and the US. Teddy bears were named after Theodore “T.R Roosevelt Junior.” Over the years Teddy bears have become more popular and over the years more people have bought them.

Teddy bears and other animals have now been made worldwide. Some of the Room 4 students brought some soft toys to school.

The dog’s name is doggy. He is a black soft toy. He wears a pink dress with a white ribbon. Doggy is as old as Ainemaria (who is 9). He has rough fur and he is just about 14cm long and 7½ cm wide. Doggy belongs to Ainemaria and he is very loved. He lives in her room.

Ainemaria’s pillow pet is a giraffe. It is humongous and is about 50cm long and 45cm wide when it is undone. It is a brownish orange spotty colour. It has a yellow tummy and mouth. It is a toy one minute and a pillow the other. It is soft like a cat.

Emma’s pig is a pillow pet. She is 22cm long and 31cm wide. She is pink all the way around. She is a medium size pillow pet.                                           She is a toy when you want her to be and a pillow at night. It is very useful if you need a nap. Piggy lives at Emma’s house in her bedroom.
