Room 4's Soft Toys by Brook

Room 4’s Soft Toys

Teddy bears were invented in Germany and the United States at around the same time. They were named after American President Theodore “T.R. Roosevelt Junior” (Teddy). They were based on bear cubs. Teddy bears are quite popular with children all over the world.

Teddy bears and other animals are now made worldwide. Room 4 students brought their favourite soft toys to school to share.

The pillow pet is soft and fluffy. He belongs to Brook. He is 46cm wide and 47cm long. He makes a good bed for Brook’s kitten. Tiger (Brook’s kitten) likes him as a bed and a toy. The pillow pet was made in China.

Miss G’s green teddy bear lives at Miss G’s house in the kid’s room. It is very soft and fluffy with little piddly black eyes. It has a very round tummy with a squeaky thing in its tummy.  The green teddy bear has beans and stuffing inside.

Mr Rabbit has a brown bow around his neck. He has three patches on him. It looks like he has been in the wars. He has a round stomach with beans in it. When he is squeezed he makes a noise. Mr Rabbit was made in China.
